Remote Desktop

I have been using Remote Desktop off site. I have been able to get to work
but just a few days ago it stopped working. When I moniter the packets the
remote desktop packed comes in but nothing comes out. The things I did around
the time was to install Microsoft Loopback Adapter, Set up an internet shared
connection. and played with the Virtual Server and Pc settings. Does anybody
know what is wrong or is my Os corrupt?
