Remote Desktop

John

I'm new to windows and would like to know about Remote
Destop.

I work with 10 Windows 2000 Pro p.cs and 2 Windows 2000
servers. How do I get Remote Desktop to work, ie set it
up on the clients and server.

I've downloaded the Remote Desktop client software and it
does state it works with Pro and Server (see Below).

In Computer, type a computer name or IP address. The
computer can be a terminal server or it can be a computer
running Windows Professional or Server that has Remote
Desktop enabled and for which you have Remote Desktop
permissions.

Thanks

John

Make sure that the Terminal Services service runs on the
server, then launch the remote desktop client as you
outlined in your post. Note that you cannot run Terminal
Services on a Win2000 Workstation.
