Remote Desktop to Windows 2000 Pro

Alright I have tried searching through and have found some helpful answers.
I have the need to connect to a Windows 2000 Professional computer with
Remote Desktop. I need to know how I can do this with just setting up a
remote client on the 2K machine and accessing it via an XP home machine. Is
it possible with XP home to remote in without the use of a 3rd party app like
pc anywhere?

It is possible to just set it up to where we get on the internet type in the
ip address and it goes straight to the computer in remote desktop and we log
on?

What in all do I need on the 2K machine to allow remote desktop web
connections?

Thank you all for your help in advance.

You will have to use third party software. Windows 2000 Professional (not
"Server" does not have Remote Desktop capabilities nor can they be added
with any Microsoft software/tweaks. UltraVNC is my suggestion.

Taking that as written - sort of.

Nothing - at least nothing native. Windows 2000 Professional - again -
doesn't have Remote Desktop capabilities nor can native (Microsoft) support
for it be added. UltraVNC...

No problem - good luck.
