Remote desktop fuzzy?

Howdy!

When I remote desktop into my office machine from home, the performance is
great but the text is a little bit fuzzy. Actually, fuzzy is not really the
rigth word -- for example, in Visual Studio.NET, text fonts look a little
bit more jagged on my LCD at home than they do on my LCD at the office. If
I fire up VS.NET at home, it looks great, so it's only the text transmitted
via remote desktop that's off.

Does this have something to do with ClearType -- does ClearType work in
remote desktop windows? Or do I need to look at something in my
configuration?

I have just discovered that if I run a Virtual PC session on a host computer
that i remotely access with terminal services I get the Clear Type effect.
Note that I am not remotely accessing the Virtual PC directly but only in a
window on the host computer that i am remotely logged into. I can full
screen the virtual pc. Also note that if i remotely access the virtual pc
directly, via terminal services running on the virtual pc itself, i don't
get the clear type effect.
