remote desktop diskcheck

When I'm connected to my office pc and try to do a diskcheck upon reboot,
nothing happens. I check the log file and it hasn't done the disk check. I
have gone through the proper procedure by checking the appropriate boxes.
Any ideas? Thanks.

I discovered a solution on another site:

While connected, open the task manager and run "shutdown -r"

Works great.
