Remote Desktop crashing my remote machine

When I run Remote Desktop Connection from my laptop to try to connect to my
desktop machine at work, it crashes my work machine (reboots it). Windows
Crash Analysis on my work machine says there's a problem with a device
driver, but isn't any more specific. On my laptop, Remote Desktop freezes and
I have to use Task Manager to close out of it.

One possible factor is that I'm running two 20" monitors at high resolution
on my work machine, and trying Remote Desktop with a 12" laptop screen.

Any ideas on what could be causes the conflict?

Check/replace video driver on RDC host.

Problem solved.

The error was being caused by outdated drivers (from 2004) for my Radeon
x300 series video adapter in my Dell desktop machine. I went to the ATI site,
installed their updated drivers (version 8.18.0.0, signed 9/14/05) using
their Catalyst installer, rebooted, and voila! I can now Remote Desktop into
my work machine.
