When using Remote Desktop I can connect to Winxp machine
ok from Win2000 machine. When I try to connect to Win2000
machine from Winxp macine I get error message "client
could not connect to the remote computer - remote
connections might not be enabled." I have enabled remote
connections on Winxp machine, but cannot find where to
enable on Win2000 machine. Can you tell me where to go to
enable remote connections? Thanks in advance!!

Windows 2000 Pro does not have Remote Desktop as a feature, that was
introduced in XP Pro. With Windows 2000 Server you can go into add and
remove programs/Windows components and install Terminal Server in Remote
Administration mode to allow remote access that is the same as XP Pro Remote
Desktop. --- Steve

On Windows 2000 Professional PCs you have to use an alternative
product such as WinVNC.
