Remote Desktop Connection Error

I am having a problem while connecting a PC at work. I can connect to my pc at work with no problems. I have it setup for a different port than normal. But when my boss tries he gets the login name and he can select which domain/pc to login to and type in a bad password and get and error or type in the correct one and get to the desktop. Then about 15 seconds later he will get a gray screen with a message saying "The connection to the remote computer was broken. This may have been caused by a network error. Please try connecting to the remote computer again." He is using a dlink di-704p A1 router at home and work is using the same router but with revision B3. I am using a linksys router at home and have no problems.

Any help would be appreciated.

Call your ISP provider (or the router dealers) and ask them if they have
seen any issues like this. Also, upgrade to the latest client
(http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/rdclientdl.asp). Also,
check your event viewer on the host PC to see if there are any interesting
entries.

Please share your experience with us. Thanks.

Hope it helps.
