Hi
Could everybody help me?
I have a Windows 2000 SBS server and when I managed it with Remote
desktop from home, the network went down.
I cant login to the server with Remote desktop. It send me the
following error:
" The connection to the remote computer was broken. This may have been
caused by a network error. Please try connecting to the remote
computing again."
I can reach the server with other way, and show the termsrv.exe file
is running and I can not kill it. I can not restart the Terminal
service in the Services panel, because the buttons are grey, so I dont
now, how can I reset the bad connection. I tried to restart the RPC
service, without result. I dont want to restart the server remotely.
I changed the Terminal connection parameters (disconnect, after 15
minute) but it is not worked in this case.
I think that's all.
I will wait Your help

It is by design that you cannot stop and restart the Terminal
Server service:

278657 - Terminal Services Cannot Be Manipulated
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=278657

If you are unable to connect because there are 2 disconnected
sesions, try killing them remotely:

243202 - Windows 2000 Terminal Services Session Management Tools
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=243202
