Remote administration

To remotely administer a workstation, or a server, for that matter, assuming
one doesn't want to deal with dial-up, how do you decide between VPN, Remote
Desktop, and Terminal Services (administration mode)?
Thanks,
Dave

I'm not an expert here but I use Remote Desktop for my servers and
workstations. i have Terminal Services installed for a special application
that my company uses, but I don't use Terminal Services on all my servers.

RDP lets me get to the PC, do what I need to do and get off with out moving
and that works for me. I do think you only get 2 concurrent connections but
that's ok with me I'm the Network Admin, and my Boss is my backup so it works
out for us and my situation.

Hope this helps.

OBTW I use Cisco PIX for our VPN
