Remote access software

What are others using for remote accessing w2k and win98 pcs other then
pcAnywhere. I'm looking for something that is cheap or preferably free that
can handle 28k LAN/WAN connections. I don't need any other features like
security up/downloading, etc.; all I need is remote console access.

Thanks.

I tried it and seams to be quite slick. Is it safe to use with W2k Terminal
Services?

Thanks.

Not sure what you mean. If you have terminal services, why do you need VNC?
Or, do you mean, you want to connect via TS to a W2k server and run the VNC
viewer there to connect to clients running VNC?

Hy,

- Using TS is quite safe! As long as you defined the encryption Level to
high on the Terminal Server.

- PcAnywhere i loved it!

- Netop is also a very good and effordable tool, which gives you a lot of
security features.

Sorry about the vagueness of my question.

What I meant was not in the sense of security but rather does it have any
conflict issues with TS. The reason I need it on the TS is because with TS I
don't have access to the console session. I need access to the console
session for things like UPS configuration settings in the Power Options
applet, etc. which are not available through a TS session.

Thanks.

Hm - well, you can use it. I've never needed to connect to the console
session to do what you say. I use third party UPS management software,
though.
Thanks.
