Remote Access Dialer

Hello,

My daughter just upgraded her one year old desktop computer to Windows Vista
last week and all was running smoothly until today. Now suddenly, whenever
she tries to load a web page with either Internet Explorer or Mozilla
Firefox, she gets a message that says "The remote access dialer has stopped
working and needs to be restarted". Clicking OK seems to allow the page to
load, albeit very slowly. We've done virus scans and spyware scans and all
seems clean.

Any suggestions?

She is using DSL and didn't have any problems until today. She claims that
she hasn't downloaded anything and there have been no updates that she knows
of. No, we have not tried a system restore.

Thank you minimage, I just checked that setting and it's already set to
'never dial a connection'. We have no idea what is causing this.

Anyone else out there with the same problem?
