Reminders Setting

Are there any settings for the reminders (or the delete key) in Outlook that
prevent the delete key from being used to dismiss a reminder? I have deleted
Reminder Pop Up sametime while I am deleting an email.

I don't know of anyway you can prevent it, short of being more careful.
