Dear Sir,

I using Outlook2000 ( MAPI) to connect to Exchange 2k
server, the clinet is not in the same exchange's server
domain, every time i open outlook, the authantication
dialog box appeared and asked for username, domain,
password, i applied the microsoft artical " 198438" for "
passsword dialog box is always unpopulated at startup", it
successfuly retrive the username and domain name, but each
time i logon it request the password, any help to save the
password, pleas help.

Since you're not logging into the same domain, and there's no trust set up
between your domain and the one Exchange is in (or you're logging into the
local machine), it is always going to prompt you for credentials, because it
doesn't know who you are. I don't believe you can change this -
