Reinstalling vista problem

Guest

I just reinstalled vista on my rebuilt pc and now its asking me to activate
but it says my key is already in use.
how can I get around this?

My vista is a genuine 32bit vista home premium. I rebuilt my pc from the
ground up, the only bits the same are the hard drives.

And yes, I did pay for my vista and still have my ebuyer receipt for it (its
an oem version, I didnt want the 64bit as I dont need it)

You can reset your Windows Vista activation by performing the following:

1. Click on the Start button and in the Start Search box type in: slui.exe 4
2. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.
3. Select your Country.
4. Follow the instructions for phone activation.
5. Once completed, restart your computer.

welcome to defective vista,,every time vista messes up your computer or you
have to do a full reinstall..you will have to do a re activation..what
fun..and by phone..so it makes it harder..we really got screwed on this
os..you can pick a usa number to call and do the automated deal.you may have
to scream into the phone like i did..to keep it working..dont you just love
