Reinstall XP after a motherboard upgrade

I have an OEM version of XP Pro from several years ago (pre-SP1). Over the
years I have upgraded XP to SP2 and also my boot hard drive to 300GB. I
recently upgraded my motherboard which apparently requires me to reinstall
Windows.

My problem is the original OEM CD (pre-SP1) can't read hard disks over 137GB
and so it can't see my existing boot drive (at least not properly). I know
the hardware works because I tested a new XP Pro with SP2 CD from another
system and it could correctly see the hard drive and install Windows files.
Of course, my old product key doesn't work with the new SP2 CD.

Is there any way to get an updated XP Pro w/ SP2 CD for my original product
key?

Either one of the following utilities makes slipstreaming
(integrating) SP2 into Windows XP a breeze:

You can create one yourself on any computer that runs Windows XP and
has a CD Burner. You will need both your original OEM CD and the
complete Service Pack 2 (download or on CD) plus a slipstreaming
program.

I use nLite (free) from http://www.nliteos.com/ for slipstreaming CDs.

Good luck
