Hi,

I'm using service pack 2 and having problem with windows firewall. After
logging on to windows the microsoft security alert appears on my taskbar and
give a message that windows cannot detect any firewall. I went to the
microsoft security website and get solution. After trying it a few times, it
doesn't work and I think I should reinstall service pack 2. How can I do
this? Can I have the tips to perform this?

Hi

Have you got either the Windows Firewall or a 3rd party Firewall running?

OPen Control Panel > Windows Firewall > On the "Advanced" tab click "Restore
Defaults". Tell us if this works.
