reinstall win xp in a dual boot environment

dear xp gurus,
on my pc i have two partitions. c: -> windows xp prof and d: -> windows 2003
server. i'd like to completely reinstall windows xp on partition c: without
loosing the ability to boot the w2k3-server installation. how should i
proceed ?

1. Boot Windows 2003 server
2. Using Windows Explorer, delete Windows XP folders Windows, Program
Files, and Documents and Settings.
3. Boot from Windows XP CD.
4. In Setup, choose new installation, pick C partition to install to,
and use existing file system.
