RegSvr32 Registering of ActiveX Items

What is the effect of duplicating the registration by RegSvr32 of an
Ax item. Does it ignore and not register it again, or does it
duplicate it. And if it duplicates it what is the effect of that.

No, that control will be re-registered. The registry entries may or may
not be modified depending on different file versions and path locations.
or does it duplicate it.

No, unless there are per user entries in addition to the local machine.
