registry trouble

want to delete a file in registry. i have a logitech mouse, windows
doesn't recognize it so the logitech support told me to delete a file
in registry After several tries, i can't delete the file. i allowed
all full control for the file, but still can't delete. Please help.
the
file is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\Vid_046d&Pid_c512

Unplug the mouse, any mouse, delete the key, plug the mouse back in.
