Windows XP Registry Simplification

ok. so what im looking for here is a program that will help me to take two identical hardware units and compare the registry for system wide changes.

the systems are identical in hardware and software installs. there are minor user configurations that would be different. Example, Group Policy. I have made changes to the group policy and need to evaluate the old hardware to implement the registry changes necessary.

anyone got any ideas?

There's an article on MSKB that explains a little bit on how you could do it:

Basically, export the roots (or entire reg) that you want to compare to a .reg file on both PCs, then use a text compare application to highlight the differences (there are loads of freebies out there, including MS's own - windiff).
