Registry Message when desktop loads

On my P4 that's running XP home, I get the following
message when the desktop loads.

"One of the files containing the systems registry data
had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy.
Recovery successful."

I click "ok" and as far as I can tell, everything runs
smoothly. I get the above message every time it starts or
reboots.

I've tried searching the knowledge base, but I'm not
coming up with anything. Maybe I'm not using the correct
search phrases.

Any suggestions?

Right click on your hard drive on My Computer and choose Properies > Tools >
Scan Disk.
Click both scan disk options. Scan Disk probably won't run in windows and
will require a restart.
If so, restart. Hopefully, this will fix your problem.
