Registry entry rising from the dead like a Phoenix

When I run Registry Medic it finds a software registry entry for Stilesoft.
As far as I can tell from an internet search, the only software associated
with Stilesoft is something called NetCaptor (which sounds ominous and which
I have never installed -- to my knowledge). If I allow Registry Medic to
clean the registry and then rerun it, the StileSoft entry is gone. However,
the next time I reboot and run Registry Medic, there it is again. I have run
a registry search for StileSoft using regedit before and after running
Registry Medic and it confirms that the one entry was the only one and that
it is removed. Searching the computer on StileSoft turns up nothing -- no
folders, no program entries etc.

Anyone know whether this is a threat -- and more importantly how does it
resurrect itself from the dead?

IIRC, Netcaptor is a browser sold by Stilesoft. I imagine it's
coming back because you had it installed at one time and the
uninstall either failed or is poorly written or incorrectly
uninstalled some other way.

If that's the case, come back and tell the story and someone is
likely to be able to help you. Include the exact words RM uses
to describe it. What problems is it causing? Etc.
