registration key for AVG and/or Avast

If you have more than one home computer you'd like to protect and one
already has a registered copy of
free AVG or Avast, can you simply install the program on the
unprotected computer and use the same
registration key, or do you have to get a separate key for the new
computer? It's the 3rd computer in
the household, so I'm running out of free antivirus programs if you
aren't allowed the "free" on more than
one computer. In that case, I guess I'd like to know about another
free antivirus than the two I've
mentioned. Happy skinflinting.

Go to the Avast web page and see what it says ?
