Registery Editor Error

Today I installed a new Windows 2000 Server on my system and updated it.Surprisingly, when i wanted to
run registry editor,i received following error message
and couldn't to run regedit:
"Registery editing has been disabled by your administrator".But I am the system administrator myself!
What's the cause of this error and how can I solve it?

Thank you

Something enabled the DisableRegistryTools Value Name, tip 119 in the 'Tips &
Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com

Were you fooling around with group policy:

Disable registry editing tools
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System

Description
Disables the Windows registry editors, Regedt32.exe and Regedit.exe.

If this policy is enabled and the user tries to start a registry editor, a
message appears explaining that a policy prevents the action.

See if tip 2942 helps.
