I am new to Vista Beta 2 and recently installed the Vista.
I was looking for for the place from where I could execute
an old command Regedit. I cannot find it. Could someone
point to me direction please..

TIA

Hi,

As Jane said, just type it into search and hit enter.

Also, the run box still exists if you just hit winkey+r, and you can still
add it to the start menu under properties if you really miss it. As the
search box will function the same way, it is hardly necessary any longer.

The Vista search is very convenient you access by clicking the Start button or hitting the windows key. You can also drag links into the start or the run box, and if you like you can put a combo run box in your taskbar by right clicking it>toolbars>address>unlock the taskbar and dragging it's seam on the left. That space has dual function as a run box and an IE address bar and I find it saves a little time.

Thanks Rick and CH,

There is so much new stuff that it's easy to be totally lost..-;)

Thanks and regards -
