Refreshing folder automatically

In my laptop when I drop files into the shared my documents folder the files
do not appear on my desktop computer shared folder until I refresh that
folder with F5. Is there a way that the destination folder can be refreshed
automatically?

Hi nobody (no, I'm not speaking to myself) ;-)

Try PowerDesk. There is a free version and a paid one. The free one
will do what you want. I've used the paid version for years and it does
a lot more than Explorer. It's more like the old File Manager used to be.

Free version:

Terry,

Thanks for this. Hopefully it will also work with shared folders across my
LAN
