Reformatted Hard Drive - Can't Install Win XP Upgrade

G

Guest

My hard drive was seriously corrupted, so I opted to reformat and reinstall WinXP. My WinXP Pro cd is an upgrade version and I chucked my Win95 floppys and my Win 98 cd a couple of months ago. Now that I have formatted the drive, WinXP won't let me install Windows because I don't have a prior version

Somebody please help

Thanks

You might look around for a low priced version of 98, this would be cheaper
than buying the full version of XP.
