I have noticed something strange going on in the recycle bin recently, i
noticed there was something in the bin , i usually just go straight to "
empty recycle bin", but on this occassion i got a message " do you want to
delete WINDOWS" , so i opened the recycle bin , thinking some idiot had put
the the windows folder in the bin, but there was nothing in the bin!, but it
still looked like there was on the desktop icon, this has happened 4 or 5
times now , never had this before just started a week or two ago ,when we log
off the bin looks empty again, then at some stage , the bin looks full again
but when you click to empty , theres the WINDOWS message again, as far as i
know , no one has tried to send the windows folder to the recycle bin , so
can anyone tell me why i get this sometimes, i am stumped .thank you

Common issue.

This seems to work for many: Make sure that something is in the Recycle Bin
(delete any file). With the Recycle Bin closed, right click and choose:
Empty Recycle Bin. When the confirm box appears, click ok. Reboot. Now the
Recycle Bin should work correctly.
