Recycle Bin

Recycle bin contains files but they are not listed in Windows Explorer or
from desktop icon. It appears recycle bin can be emptied because
activitating "empty recycle bin" gives confirmation are you sure you want to
delete these files.
I'd like to be able to see the contents of my recycle bin before I empty it!
I saw a fix for this for earlier versions of Windows, don't know if it would
work in XP and wouldn't want to try.

R and scroll to Recycle Bin.

Right-click the Recycle bin, and select "Open"
