Recycle Bin Corruption

This may be something new, but I somehow managed to accidentally drag the
DESKTOP.INI file into the recycle bin and now the thing complains every time
I empty it!
I've tried every other recycle bin fix on the internet but it doesn't make
the problem go away.
Any advice on how to fix this curious issue?

I'm running XP SP3 with all the patches.

Did you tried to Restore the System to an earlier date Before the
Copying/moving of the Desktop.ini took place?
