Recovery Console help

Karen

Hi I have a dual booting computer with the option to boot into the recovery
console as well as win 98 and win xp pro. I reinstalled windows 98 and lost
my dual/triple boot menu. I fixed that but now I cannot boot into the
recovery console. I get error messages about missing files (not surprising
really considering that the c: partition was formatted) How do I repair or
reinstall the recovery console? Due to a fault in my bios (old) I have never
been able to use the Win xp pro disk as a bootable disk, but in the distant
past someone gave me the information on how to install the recovery console
from the cdrom. However that information was stored on my win 98 partition,
which has been formated, so I cannot remember how it was done.

I also have a set of Win xp pro boot disks but I don't think I used them to
put the cmdcons directory on my C: drive.

Thanks for any suggestions. Karen
it should be obvious what is wrong with my email address.

This floppy will allow you to boot directly to your desktop if you are
unable to boot the conventional way.
