Recover messages in Sync Issues\Server Failures

We have been having a problem with messages not syncing to Offline folders.
I have removed all the palm desk software, and am hoping that makes it better.

But...there are many messages trapped in the "Sync Issues\Server Failures"
folder. Is there a way to recover those or are they trapped in limbo?

Can't you move them manually? Where do they show up when you look at the
mailbox through OWA?

Nope, I can't move them manually. In OWA they show up in the same place
inbox\Siny Issues\Server Failures.

I can open the messages and see the text, but I can't forward them or
open/save the attachments. In this case, it's the attachments that are most
important. Any attempts to move them fail, either in Outlook 2003 or OWA.
