recover items in recycle bin from a boot cd

I deleted some 20 system files with the extension .nls, thinking they
were junk. I didn't empty the recycle bin thinking I could restore
the files if they were needed. Now the system won't boot.

I was able to recover the files using a boot cd, but they have names
that don't match the original file names. An original file name
example is c_1252.nls. File names I recovered from the recycle bin
are dc4.nls thru dc20.nls. I believe these are the ones because they
all have the same file size as the originals, which is approx 65kb.

Any suggestions?

here is info on how to replace one nls file...........just repeat it 20
times
