Recover deleted Distribution List, I used X instead of Remove

When trying to delete an individual email from a distribution list a staff
member used the X instead of Remove. The entire Distribution List was
deleted. How can it be recovered.

If it's not in the Deleted Items folder and you aren't using Exchange or the Recover Deleted Items command is disabled, then it's probably gone forever. You can always make one last search using Advanced Find.

Can you tell me more about what this is? "Recover Deleted Items command is
disabled"

Was the data in an Exchange mailbox ? If not, the Recover Deleted Items feature is not available for this scenario.
