recording music from tape cassettes to hard drive

Get a stereo RCA to stereo 3.5mm Phono adapter, plug the
RCA end into your tape deck then the 3.5mm jack into the
line in of your sound card. Then using sound recording
software (you could use sound recorder if you're willing
to pause between each song and start a new recording for
each song - but any LP recording software would be best
as they detect the silence between tracks and separate
audio files as well as offer various output formats) you
then record your tapes.
