Recording Music From Mic To XP

I want to be able to record music using my mic, but the
windows sound recorder only allows for 60 seconds at a
time. I need at least 5-6 minutes per song. Is there
another way to do this in windows or do i have to use
another program?

Get some good software like Roxio or Nero. Recording music via a mic is the
worse possible thing to do anyway.....nothing but background noise and
distortion.

You can use CDex, or Audacity. Both are free.
