Recording direct to MP3

Do you know of a tool I can use to enable recording direct to mp3 format in a
Windows Form VB .Net application.

I tried the FMOD EX tool but it has a lot of errors when I use Visual Studio
to automatically translate the record sample code from VB to VB .Net
