Record Locking & File Corruption

Hi

I asked a similar question a few days ago and I the response wasn't clear to
me

If ticking the 'Edited Record' in the 'Default Record Locking' will
potentially avoid file corruption that currently happens quite often?

No. Switching to pessimistic locking is unlikely to reduce the incidence of
file corruption.

The solution will be to track down what is causing the corruption, and
address that issue. Here's a starting point of things to look for:
