Record-level locking can not use in DAO ?

I have read from somewhere that Jet 4.0 support record-level locking and ADO
have function to do that.

But with DAO (even DAO 3.6),No this kind of function is built in object
model.

Is it true ? Because, I testing Access XP and using DAO. It can not lock a
single record. It do page-level locking.

Yes, record level locking is available. Unfortunately, if
you have memo fields though Jet still does use page level
locking.
