reconnect to share at boot/login

Dear m-p-win2k-g,

Win2k was trying to connect to an obsolete share name (L)
at bootup/logon. I searched the registry and found the key
which looks like this

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-117609710-789336058-839522115-500\Network\L

At logon it kept giving me the dialog box on error so I fixed
the problem by editing the above key. Where is the MMC snapin or
resource kit utility/script that can make this easier?

Just do
net use L: /d

in the future. Replace L: with the appropriate drive letter.
