Recommended Spyware Removers for Windows 2000/XP?

Mark

Everyone,

After today battling (and fortunately winning) a nasty spyware
infection on my son's computer running Windows 2000, I would like to
get feedback from those in the know of the best spyware/adware removal
tools for Windows 2000/XP systems (freeware, shareware and payware.)

I'm not sure what spyware was causing me grief (it kept reinstalling
even after it was supposedly removed), but it may have been either
eZula or IGetNet -- it really slowed down the computer. Whatever it
was, both Ad-Aware and Skybot, with the latest update data files, were
not able to remove the infection. Fortunately, though, Spyware Doctor
seemed to do the trick.

It's amazing how stubborn some of that spyware is to remove.

So, what sayest everyone?

Thanks.

Mark

And sometimes the software you use to find it no matter what it is cannot
find it period and you need to use other tools and look for yourself.

Dear Mark,

Try to install Mozilla this will be more secure and will denied spy's.
Install also Spybot 1.3 with full protection, this will protect the
register on w2000.

Regards,
