Hi,

I am setting up a home-theater PC, based on the following hardware (don't
laugh):
Pentium III 700 MHz
384 MB PC100 memory
NVidia GeForce4 MX440 with "Personal Cinema" VIVO
7200 rpm PATA hard disk
NT 5.0 SP4

1) The video card came with an old version of InterVideo "WinDVR" 1.18 I
think; was wondering how good this one is, and what improvements have been
made in later versions.

2) Can somebody recommend a good DVR software package?

3) The manual says I can capture MPEG-2 at 352*480 resolution with the
above system. Is that a reasonable expectation? Would downgrading the OS
to say Windows 4.1 free up more CPU cycles? Any considerations in terms of
FAT32's limitations?

Thanks for any advice!
