Recommend 3D charting software

Hi,

We are using PowerPoint 2003 and Excel 2003 need to be able to produce
animated 3d transparent charts in to be used in PowerPoint
presentations to clients. We will be showing the PowerPoint
presentation to them and leaving a copy for them to view in their own
time, so it is important that the charts will work in PowerPoint
without the need for the client to install the add-in or package. I am
aware of PowerPoint's and Excel's limitations in this area and
wondered if anyone can recommend an add-in or package that would do
this job? Cost is an issue as a large number of people need to be able
to produce the PowerPoint presentations. Any suggestions most welcome.

Not exactly a recommendation as I dont use it but I'm sure I saw someone use
swiff chart for this.

Did you know that if you dont need to edit the data (yes I know its a big
IF) you can make charts transparent (and animate) by ungrouping.

As John mentioned, you can also ungroup charts and make them transparent.
But I think Excel's 3D leaves a lot ot be desired.

I sometimes create 3D charts in Illustrator; they look good, but I can't
easily animate those piece by piece.
