Recognizing administrator

I have been trying to install Shockwave Player and I get Error - You do not
have access to make the required system configuration modifications. Please
rerun this installation from an administrators account. I am the
administrator and there are no other users on my computer. I'm using Windows
XP SP2. I am also running Norton Systems Works/Firewall. I've never run into
this problem before when installing a program. The Macromedia had me
uninstall the SW player that I had and now I can't get this newer version to
install. Can someone tell me how to get this program to recognize me as
administrator ? Thanks !

Hi Rick....tried it...didn't help...still telling me to run install from Admin acct.
