Recently used files unavailable

I am using Office 2002 on my laptop and unlike my pc it does not remember
the recently used files.

I thought it was just a matter of going to Tools/Options/General Tab and
putting a check in the box but unfortunately the appropriate line is greyed
out.

How can I get it back?

Thanks,

Noel

Have you been messing with the paranoia settings in TweakUI?

I have installed Tweak UI for XP but although I've searched can't find any
paranoid settings so it's possible!

Where are they?

Please!

Sorry!

I just found that "maintain document history" on the Explorer tab without a
check and it solved the problem - thanks!

May fault for not running up TweakUI to check exactly where the setting was
to be found. Still - this way you'll remember it :)
