receiving mail from blocked sender

I continue to receive email messages from individuals that I have placed on
my blocked senders list. How can I fix this? Additionally, is there a way
to block mail from a sender so that it never even arrives to me?

Does the sender address change each time? That's one of the biggest reasons
trying to manage SPAM with the Blocked Senders list is a waste of time.

Find a different criterion than the sender with which to block the messages.

never even arrives to me?

Using a server-side SPAM filter such as offered with Hotmail or Yahoo mail
is one way and using a tool like MailWasher is another.

WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with jlssi - that was absolutely no answer at all! the
idea of a blocked senders list is to keep YOUR customers (people who purchase
Microsoft products. . . ) from having to deal with senders they do not want
to engage with.

I have same issue where an acquaintance spams everyone with at least 30
crap emails every day. I do not want to hurt her feelings and have just
blocked her - but her emails keep showing up in my inbox even though I re-add
her to blocked senders list every time. I can't block the domain since it's
a hotmail address.

would appreciate a real answer and some help on this issue.

My guess is someone on your safe recipients list is included on the To or CC
line of the message from the acquaintance. In this case create a rule that
deletes all mail from the acquaintance if you don't want to remove their
addresses from the safe lists.

FWIW, your reason for using the blocked list is about the only valid one -
adding most spammers to the list is pointless as they keep changing
addresses.

I am having same problem, but I do not have anyone listed in my Safe
Recipients and it does not appear as though any sender is changing their
e-mail address
