Before trying to hunt around on your computer as to the cause for the lack
of delivery, use the webmail interface to your mailbox to see if the mails
are actually there. Maybe they never did get sent despite the claims of the
senders. Maybe they got rejected because the senders were blacklisted, or
because you left you mailbox polluted with old mails so you consumed all
your disk quota. Or you have server-side spam filtering enabled and those
mails are getting deleted or moved into a junk or trash folder.
First check if the mails are actually ever getting to your mailbox at the
server. Use the webmail interface to check.
