Having suffered from a peer to peer network for eons now
and having seen that there are loads of people on this
forum in the same boat I think it's time for MS to bite
the bullet and give us the absolute idiot's guide to home
networking.
Especially how to cope when a previously normally working
network suddenly drops one of its features/utilities eg
my problem of guest not being able to access the
directory of the host. The host has no such problem. All
other network features are working normally ... viz
internet connection and so forth.
