reading Pane is a pain - font size

Hi,
Anyone know how to Permananently set the text size so that it stays larger
all the time?
In the reading pane? Not the message, nothing but the reading pane.

Howdy,

I am not sure what you mean by the "reading pane" but would
suggest that you go to it and then click on View | Current
View | Customize Current View. There you will find ways to
set anything you might imagine.

All the best,

plain text: tools, options, mail format, fonts
HTML: it's an IE setting.

I increased all of these items and it doesn't work in the READING pane, not
the preview, bars, windows or anything else.

Message body text is controlled by one of the two settings I mentioned. If
HTML uses CSS, you may not be able to control it. If you mean text in
toolbars, it is controlled by windows font settings. Fonts in the message
list (middle column) is automatic formatting in views.

So where is the IE HTML setting then?

Basically I am referring so specifically the text in the reading pane of
Outlook 2003.
So if you have your folder list on the left, your messages in the middle,
and then the "reading pane" on the right, I am asking how to make the font
larger ALL the time for reading the entire message, not the titles in
outlook or anything more than the message.

If the message you receive is formatted, then, in general, the sender
controls the format and you'll see what they chose for you. For Plain Text
messages, Tools>Options>Mail Format>Fonts will be where you control the
Reading Pane fonts.
